The immigration of Russian Jews is literally paying off. This year has witnessed an explosion in both high-tech developments and the number of contracts Israeli high-tech companies have signed with manufacturers worldwide.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "The failure of Soviet communism to capitalise on the outstanding R&D skills of the Russian Jews was a stroke of good fortune for Israel. We now have the highest per capita of scientists in the world. This has put Israel on the cutting edge of technology." The New York Stock Exchange lists more high-tech companies from Israel than any other nation.
Ezekiel also predicted the sanctification of God’s name when Israel’s enemies would threaten His people (38:16-23). Since it was born again in 1948, the tiny state of Israel has become a thriving democracy, a world leader in medicine, technology and agriculture, with a military that ranks among the finest.
Israel has given the world the cell phone, computer processors and voice mail. They have made the barren desert bloom, reforested large portions of the country, and have made the nation a leading exporter of fruits, vegetables and flowers.
